More. . .

We have family in London so this was the purpose of this trip. London is a very small town of approximately 8.5 square miles of land. They recently opened a Wal–Mart on the edge of town. The downtown area with just a few new buildings still looks the same with the local businesses and pubs. It reminds you of a small town in the South. They have festivals year round so you can be entertained any time of the year you visit. Beginning March 1, 2011 they will celebrate their 200th Anniversary and continue throughout the year.

People who call London home are Richard A. Harrison (U.S. Representative), Charles Richard LeBeau (Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator), John Markus (Writer/Producer The Cosby Show), Clyde Tingley (Governor of New Mexico), Dick Reynolds (Otterbein College Men's Basketball Head Coach) just to name a few.

While visiting in London we took a ride over to the Columbus Easton Town Center Mall. They have 30 theater screens for your enjoyment pleassure while waiting for others to shop. You can shop at Macy′s, Coach, Nordstroms and many more well known stores. They even have curb side parking in their maze of shops so come early or you will find yourself parking in the middle. Going back to London on Highway 70 is where we saw the worst accident we had ever seen. A car went under a tractor trailer and the body of the person from the car was laying on the ground. I was truly a nervous wreck after seeing this but we managed to get back to London safe and sound.
